Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of Vidual (“the Service”), provided by Where Beagles Dare! Ltd (“WBD”, “we”, “us”). It forms part of the Terms of Service. Breach of this policy may lead to suspension or termination of access to the Service.

1. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use the Service to store, send, or make available any content, or engage in any conduct, that:

• is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise harmful;
• contains or distributes malware, viruses, or other malicious code;
• infringes the intellectual property rights or other rights of any person;
• impersonates any person or misrepresents your affiliation with any person or organisation;
• circumvents, disables, or otherwise interferes with security features or access controls of the Service; or
• probes, scans, or load-tests the Service or any related system without our prior written consent.

2. Communications and anti-spam

You may only send communications through the Service that you are lawfully entitled to send. You must comply with all applicable laws governing electronic communications and marketing, including the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, and, where relevant to your recipients, the CAN-SPAM Act (United States) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

In particular, you must not send unsolicited bulk messages; you must honour opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly; and you must hold a lawful basis or the necessary consent for any marketing communications you send.

3. Integrations

When you connect a third-party platform to the Service (for example Google, Meta/Instagram, Stripe, Lightspeed, QuickBooks, or Xero), you must comply with the terms of that platform and must only connect accounts that you are authorised to use.

4. Fair use

You must not use the Service in a way that disproportionately degrades performance or availability for other customers. We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect the Service and its users.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate any suspected breach of this policy and may suspend or terminate access to the Service for breach. Serious or unlawful activity may be reported to the relevant authorities.

6. Reporting abuse

If you become aware of any use of the Service that breaches this policy, please report it to us at hello@vidualapp.com.
